We were invited to tender for this project by Identity consult, Durham and won a competitive tender out of 6 different contractors all based in the North east area. Being based in Halifax this is something we are particularly proud of. After being awarded the project we worked closely with the client and their architect to work through many of the bespoke wall art finishes and furniture and storage needs. As an IT services specialist, Waterstons connectivity requirements were very complex. We worked very hard to integrate their need for multi tech product use into the building and its furniture whilst keeping a fun but professional feel to the office space. 

Waterstons’ aspiration was to create an office that gave its users free working space and the ability to be connected wherever they go. A good example of this is the Coffee shop that we created, which compromised of movable desks and a large presentation screen so that the area could have a multi-function use as a large presentation room. To keep this area compartmentalised on an ad-hoc basis we created a sliding wall to segregate one area from another. 

All in all we found this to be a highly enjoyable and rewarding project, the client and their team were similarly delighted with the finished product.
