Creating a new shared office space for 2-Work in Leeds

Overview

Situated on the 3rd floor of the brutalist architectural building of Bank house in the central location of Leeds city centre,  our client 2-Work wanted to create their flagship, shared office space concept incorporating the new look and feel for their brand. The space had to be divided into collaborative, shared working space and include compartmentalised 20–30-person office spaces for customers with a greater need for permanent work areas.

At the start of the project, we met with 2-Work to review their brand colour palate so that we could match this with the flooring shade and functional and collaborative furniture. The client visited Project Group’s showroom for design inspiration and a range of furniture was selected including sofa, board room tables, 4 seaters collaborative booths and office seating.

To create the general look and feel of the suite we pulled together inverted colour images of the original external parts of the building that were taken in the 1960s and framed them alongside full wallpapers of bank vaults and their inner workings to really bring the industrial, brutalist and bank vault feel.

The work was completed over a 4 week period and the client was extremely happy with their flagship shared office space.
