The Bridge House Edinburgh is the latest student accommodation renovation project we have carried out for Unite Students.  

The refurbishment scope of work involved demolition to create a new entrance and open plan area, full strip out back to bare block and floor slab. Additionally, the project aimed to create a new reception area, a large TV room, study booths, study rooms, and a secure entrance from the street.

One of the major challenges faced in the project was the need for heavy structural support to create the open-plan area and the opening through the front of the building. This required careful planning and coordination of temporary works to ensure the safety of the workers and the students.

The new entrance and open-plan area created a welcoming environment for the students, while the new reception, parcel store, and back of house office added to the building's functionality. The large TV room, study booths, and study rooms created a comfortable and conducive environment for the students to study and relax.
