Project Interiors has been appointed by Abodus Student Living to refurbish two student blocks and create a new marketing suite at Portland Green Student Village, the largest private student accommodation in Newcastle.

Comprising of 277 rooms in Block A and Block B, the single bedrooms are arranged in cluster flats of 5-7, with en-suite, and a communal kitchen and dining area.

The programme of works in the 272 bedrooms, includes a full decoration, plus strip out and replacement of blinds to freshen up the interiors in time for new cohort of students arriving in September.

In the 55 communal kitchen and dining areas, the flooring will be replaced with a new vinyl, and new furniture will be installed including sofas and bar stools to elevate the space for students to socialise, cook and dine together.

A complete refurbishment of the existing common room into a new games rooms will create the social hub modern day students expect.
